PRE-POP PREPERATIONWe bought lollipops for the entire band and attached notes to every single one of them. Even some of the messages were very short, but hopefully they felt the sincerity. (:



BAND CAMPThe 3D2N will be one that I'll never forget man. All the fun, laughter, jokes, late night roti pratas, trying to get to the toilet to bathe in the middle of the night without getting caught, the NCC alarm clock, the beautiful music with many variations we got on the entire second night, dayong sampan. Gees.
I wish it never ended.

PASSING OUT PARADE

I must say, it wasn't the most organised, the best we could do, but I still enjoyed it, because it's truly the very last time I'd be part of this big family.
Wished Mr Tan was here too. :/
Anyway, a big thank you to the leaders and everyone who planned everything. (:

David, my successor.I'm sure you'll be able to do a great job. Since you, Tingting and I are all LIMs, I'm sure you'll be able to get that same sense of satisfaction we got when your journey ends.
I hope that talk we had on the second night helped in one way or another.
I hope you keep in mind all the advice we gave you. With that and experience, I'm sure you'll be an awesome leader. Jiayou okay. Don't forget, we'll always be watching.
MY BELOVED OBOE SECTION
Mousey!!! Hahahaha, you look like you smiling very hard.
Your one and only junior, who is also the coolest ever, has finally graduated.
Learning the oboe has been such a long journey, and it will go on. Thank you for having so much patience to teach me the skills and techniques in oboe playing. Oboe playing is like the love of my life. I hope I've not disappointed you. Love you!

Tianji!You are the best junior a senior can ever ask for. Thank you for taking the initiative and responsibility to practice each time I was too busy with other stuff. Because of that, I was able to handle my posts. I'm glad you've falling in love with playing the oboe like I have. Continue to work hard, you'll be an awesome player. Jiayou okay!
Kaicheng!Don't make me tell you that you suck again lah, please. Feel like a super big bully. Work hard okay. The starting is difficult, but as long as you work hard, you'll get there. Rest assured, you definitely have the potential. You just need hard work and practice. I don't want to have to come back and tell you that you suck and that you're a disgrace to the oboe section, please.

Linda, CHICKEN NEH NEH!The way you woke up on the second day was HILARIOUS. Oh my god, I will never forget that. Well, thank you for everything, especially when we were new to being leaders, you were there to guide and help us and everything, we couldn't have done it without you.
KDS! HAHAHA. Sorry lah, but we always call you that behind your back.
Band would never have been so fun and all without you. Thank you for everything! All the best maintaining your figure, and of course, with handling the band. You'll definitely do an awesome job. We're all behind you. I'll really really miss you!
MR TAN!Even though you weren't there, but I'd still like to thank you for giving me the opportunity to lead the band. You know, until today, I still have that tiny bit of fear of you, and I think it'll be there forever. I really wished you were there, but oh well. Do know that we love you! I'll miss you a lot too. SHOONG & JING!Shit, why did I remove my tie! :(FREE HUGS! Leading the band with the two of you has been so wonderful that it has left such beautiful memories for me. Thank you for bearing with my nonsense, giving in to me and all that. I'm really sorry about my stupid temper, and for venting my anger on you guys all the time.
You guys are the best companions, best partners ever. I'm glad it was the two of you, and nobody else. All the quarrels, Sheng Siong and Candy Empire trips, meals, Kungfu Panda, digressing on the phone. Gees, I couldn't really start crying even thinking about them. I'll miss working with you guys sooooo much!

BIBIANA GOH!Yes yes. School will be such a bitch without you. You three-quarter band member! Thank you for always being there to listen to me complain and offering suggestions, espcially when I was facing problems with my job and all that. I love you!


From Junior Band Festival 2005, End-of-Year "Concert" 2005, Muse Festival 2006, Ensemble Festival 2006, YPSB 2006, SYF 2007, Taiwan Trip 2007, Band Concert 2008 and to our very own, Passing Out Parade 2008.
I've finally come to the end of my Secondary School band life. The ending's beautiful, yet, I wish it never ended. I could cry a river looking at the photos lah. I'll cherish all the memories.
I'm suffering from post-POP syndrome man.Joining the band has changed my life so much. It has taught me responsibility, commitment, initiative, perseverance, to compromise, teamwork, co-operation, and to become a better person altogether.
